About Kodomo no Kao
Established in 1974 by Hisako Nakamura (中村久子), Kodomo no Kao, which translates to “Children’s Faces”—originally began as a boutique manufacturer of wooden toys. Inspired by the joyful expression of a child absorbed in play, Nakamura transitioned the company’s focus to high-quality rubber stamps in 1983. Today, they are a global leader in the hobbyist world, celebrated for an expansive catalog that ranges from traditional wooden-mounted stamps to innovative, award-winning tools like the Pochitto(ポチッと) push-button series.
